Tai Chi Chuan
Tai Chi Chuan is a martial art that is sometimes called meditation in movement. It uses breath, slow gentle movement and concentration to bring about physiological changes in the body and creates an overall feeling of well-being. Although it might appear to be tailor made for the modern world and its relentless pressures, Tai Chi Chuan has in fact been here for a considerable length of time. With its origins rooted in ancient China, this integrated exercise system for body, mind and spirit is thought to date back almost 1000 years.
